VerifiedThe Minneapolis-Moline GTB is a four-cylinder G standard tractor of the late 1940s and early 1950s — part of the G line that preceded the six-cylinder big-G tractors.
Identification & configuration
The GTB was built 1947–1954 within the four-cylinder G family (GT → GTA → GTB → GTC → GB); see the four-cylinder G overview.
Note the big-G six-cylinder tractors (G-VI, G704–G708, G900, G1000) are a separate, later line — don’t confuse a GTB with those.
Factory paint
Per the MMCI paint records, the GTB wore the common Prairie Gold (PG2) with Cherry Red wheels. See the full paint reference for the year-by-year configuration.
